Charity Runs

The Air Ambulance Service.

Every year, Northants MG Owners’ Club organises its own charity road run –

“The Rose of the Shires”

This takes place in May of each year and raises funds for a nominated charity.

In 2019, the event took place on Sunday, 19th May and once again is supporting

The Air Ambulance Service.

Rose of the Shires 2019

Thank you to everyone who entered this year’s event on 19th May.

I am delighted to say that our 60+ entry enjoyed a gentle run through many historic parts of rural East Northamptonshire ending at New Lodge Farm with a Hog Roast.

We were also blessed, once again with wonderful blue skies, allowing those whose cars had removable roofs to bask in the comfortable warmth and sunshine.

Images from the event are available via the Galleries page of the website.

As in recent years, proceeds from this year’s fundraising events will be donated to the Air Ambulance Service which is responsible for operating the national Children’s Air Ambulance and the local air ambulance services for Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland.

The end this year was at New Lodge Farm –
